Apply to Join Our Writing Team!

NSTA is soliciting applications from individuals who are interested in serving on a writing team to develop a new position statement on teacher pay. This team will examine national trends in teacher compensation, the need for more science and STEM teachers, and the growing disparities for students in less fortunate communities and schools. Participating on this writing team will require a four-to-six-month commitment and attendance at monthly online meetings (60 minutes).

Writing team members will also complete work between meetings, including reviewing and editing drafts of the statement.
